![]() ![]() finitely far from ready for prime time and I wish it wasn't too late to get my money back.Ĭhill out guys the problem you are facing is no big deal, Tried via RClone, IDrive e2 web interface, IDrive S3 Browser.Items claimed as deleted in RClone still showing in IDrive e2.Ireland region being unavailable/maintenance errors. On the business account Comet Backup was just as bad too with IDrive e2, subsequent incremental backups which would complete in around 30 minutes on Wasabi would take 5 or more hours on e2.Īs I said I'm currently trying to delete data from their Ireland 'region' and this is taking over a week due to: This is from the same source data on a NAS connected with a 1Gb u/d connection.īucket size wouldn't update for over a week in the Ireland region and only updated after I started to delete data as I begun to re-upload to London. ![]() Never had this with Wasabi.Īdjusting chunk sizes and uploads helped a little with the large files but no idea on the smaller files.Īfter supposedly everything was synced subsequent runs on Wasabi would take about 20 minutes but nearly a full day on IDrive e2, that's with approximately 10TB of data and 3 million files. Syncing data using RClone was painful to IDrive with it for some reason failing on large files, also it seems to re-sync previously copied data that consisted mostly of very small files. Performance is just straight up terrible, a 'RClone ls' on the same folder/files in Wasabi and IDrive e2 would take 1.2 seconds and over 120 seconds respectively. The business account is/was to be used with Comet Backup. The personal account is primarily there just to store some data accumulated from multiple hard disks that I need to whittle down and de-duplicate.
